You probably need an additional MP3 file, next to your regular audio file (AIFF or WAVE). Anime Studio doesn't convert audio formats, so you need to it yourself, by supplying both formats in the same folder.

Have both sound files in the same folder as the AS file. You import the WAV into AS. When you export to SWF Anime Studio will use the MP3 automatically for the SWF export. You don't import the MP3.

There was something wrong with the MP3 file. I converted the WAVE file myself into MP3 (44.1 Khz, 128 kbps, stereo), and it didn't crash. Here is the result:

If I may ask, what did you use to convert the wav into an mp3?

I used Audacity 1.3.3-beta.

That obviously is no good. You need to convert it, not just rename it.

Download Audacity at
http://audacity.sourceforge.net/

Download the 1.3.3-beta version. It is very stable and has a good noise reduction. And it's free. Your audio levels are too low, so you will need an audio editor anyway. For MP3 you will get good results if you use a maximum of -0.3 dB as an audio level. If you use 0 dB (maximum), the MP3 encoder has troubles encoding.

If you have problems with Audacity, just ask in this forum, because many animators use it.

The only thing that is important is that is sounds fine in your web browser, embedded in an html file. I think only a few people play SWFs in stand-alone players.

The sample rate of your audio should be a multiple of 11.025 Khz (11.025, 22.05 or 44.1), otherwise the Flash plug in will do it for you and speed the sound up. This means you should record your audio at 44.1 Khz, or resample it as such.
