.mov exports don't fit in iMovie

Post by Kratos »

Hello, dear Animators :-)

I'm new in AS and I've studied the tutorials. I made a short animation and I exported it as a .mov file on my desktop (MacBook Pro). Now I wish to import this short work into iMovie, but it fails. After a helpless search in Google I found your forum (Thank you, ancient gods!)

Does someone know how I have to proceed to make a movie out of AS-animations in iMovie? How do I change the .mov-code, so I can use the animation in iMovie?

Thanks for the help and sorry for my bad english.

Have a look at the dimensions of your output. They are the same as your project settings. Do a test with the PAL preset and export this, it should import into iMovie without problems. If that fails, you have a problem with your iMovie installation.

Also if you don't use any compression, the file may be too large and iMovie may choke on it.
