Here is Turbo McSwine from my small press comic -- hey, neeters -- riffing the intro on Joe Satriani's Crowd Chant.
Turbo McSwine Plays Electric Guitar
Comments on the design or animation are welcome. Thanks!
This is was inspired by Acochran's guitar-playing dude:

I like the animation, and the design. And that character has the coolest name EVER!

Really nicely done. Some changes in expression would make it even better. Great design btw!

That's been the feedback from my family too. This is a base character, so I'll start adding more switches, actions, etc. to extend his expression.
Thank you all for the kind words, especially from such talented folks as yourselves.

The character design(which I think is great, by the way) seems better suited for frame by frame style animation, not cutout style. But I also agree that a few changes in expression would help a lot, even a simple eyeblink or two.

Will take this to heart. BTW, I really found your head turn vids incredibly helpful. Brilliant.

Awww yeah. Well done! There are some nice suggestions for adding a little polish to this sequence, and I look forward to seeing how you apply that polish!
