....to a bone, I know it can be done I've seen it. But every time I have a go it messes up.
If anyone could help me I'd really appreciate it.
My names Okse by the way and ths is my first ever post, so "hello" and all that

Open the startup file
In Layer Window
Goto Frame 1 and ( Select Mouth with RMB ) , you will get submenu to select,
Goto Frame 10 and Select Mouth with RMB ) you will get submenu to select 2nd Mouth
Goto Frame 20 ..

thank you, I know how to assign keyframes by switching, but I need to no how to assign a switch layer/object to a bone.

You've got it the other way around. Switch layers are also bone layers, so you create the bone on the switch layer.

To assign a layer to the bone:
1. Make sure frame zero is active
2. Activate the Bind Layer tool
3. Activate a layer inside the bone layer
4. Click on the bone that you want your layer to be assigned to
