I registered Moho a long time ago, bought the upgrade to 5... but am only now giving it a real workout.
I'm noticing a few things that make production more difficult in Moho than is desirable, so maybe I'm just missing some techniques or features -
How can I get a scene overview in the timeline? Being able to see the keys for a single layer at a time makes it kind of difficult to have a good sense of overall scene timing. I'm used to tools like After Effects, and Cinema4D, where I can see all the keys for all objects in one view. Barring that, is there any mechanism to indicate which layers have keys assigned to them?
All keys are represented by circles. In something like a switch layer, how can I tell which layer is being switched on? I would have thought that would display in graph view, but it doesn't.
Bones-based deformation is not available in onion skin. This makes it rather difficult to line up items which are not being deformed by the bones.
Lots more, but we can start with these.
PS - don't get me wrong, Moho is the coolest, I just want to be able to get better results faster.

You can only see the keys for the current layer in the timeline. There's nothing you can do to change that view right now. We've had several requests for a "deeper" view of the keyframes, so that may come around in a future update.TDR wrote:How can I get a scene overview in the timeline?
Activate the Switch Layer tool (the second tool from the right, bottom row in the Layer tool group). Can you upload an example file? If I use bones to control a character, and then turn on onion skin frames, I definitely do see the bone deformation in the onion skins.TDR wrote:Bones-based deformation is not available in onion skin. Sounds great. I'll look forward to that. Any tips then for quickly determining just where animation actually resides in your project? Like what layers have keyframes, as compared to "passive" layers.Lost Marble wrote:

I'm sure I was wrong then. In my tests last night I was creating a rigged character, using the frame-0 bone-offset technique (which works awesome!), and I didn't get onion skin action going in my project. Perhaps I did something wrong, or didn't have my preview options set right to actually see them. I'll test again.Lost Marble wrote:
