Here is something I tried today after reading your post here. The ball could of been more realistic but I have never been one to really make a good bouncing ball. I tried to make the fabric on the trampoline look like it stretched and It could be better but I am happy with the hr or so I spent experimenting with this.
I just watched your vid on you tube, very clever the way u tied both subjects together. And i really liked the way the fabric stretched, for the life of me i could'nt figure out how to do that,i tried.I was amazed that i was able to do what i did,it drove me nuts but i figured something out,it was only my second attempt and i'll get better,i hope, thanks for the comment now just show me how to stretch the fabric!

What I did was make a rectangle and sheered it some then connected the corners then made an X and then connected the X in the center so I could make 4 shapes, This involves some line deletions etc. Any who, add some kinda of texture to each of the 4 shapes and lower the shape opacity to around 210. Next, make a bouncing ball or human w/e, and translate it down to the trampoline and translate the X down also. (this will take some some time to get it right)RATHAHONNI wrote:sbtamu wrote:RATH,

I'm amazed how u guys have all these movements worked out,i never had to think about it before, even a walk cycle took some heavy thought, i had to really watch people and how they walked.funksmaname wrote:The important thing is that unlike bouncing a ball on a hard surface, you're dealing with fairly heavy objects jumping on a tense material, so there should be considerable slow down at the bottom of the bounce as well as the top, and the bit in between should ease in & out making the bit between bounces the fastest part of the movement...
