Here's a new walk cycle and run cycle for my T Rex character using some suggestions I received here at the lost marble forum in this thread:
viewtopic.php?f=8&t=25225
I re-rigged the character to allow his knees to lift higher, and I slowed down the cycles (by putting in more frames) this seems to have added a bit of weight.
Also, the toe now trails behind the foot, yet clamps down a bit more convincingly.

More to come.
T Rex walk cycle & run cycle updates

Re: T Rex walk cycle & run cycle updates
The walk looks a little more convincing than the run. Something in the knees on the run, they don't seem to bend enough maybe.
Also, I certainly wouldn't know this since I've certainly never seen one walk, but something about him setting down the heel first seems wrong to me too, like he should slam down the whole flat of the foot at once. Again, that's just me, it's not like I have a shred of data to back that up.
It definitely looks good, keep it up!

Re: T Rex walk cycle & run cycle updates
The running clip looks more like jogging. When running both feet will be in the air at some point.
