I have been considering buying a video editor to edit my animation from anime studio, when I realized that my mac has imovie preinstalled. I'm just starting to use it, but it seems like it can do just about everything I need to do! Is anyone else using imovie? If so how has your experience been with...

Is there any way to copy a shape from frame 100 of layer x....and then paste it into another layer--layer y-- and have it retain the same shape as it had at frame 100 on layer x.....Or does it always revert back to its original shape (layer x frame 0)???...

I use AS5 on my macbook pro. I love it, but it does crash sometimes while exporting to .mov/quicktime. What is up with that?

How do I scale multiper layers simultaneously? So that the layers stay proportional to each other. It is possible right? Or is there a workaround if not?

Is there a way to add a point to a shape without the entire shape changing?

I am having a similar problem when I am exporting my animation to quicktime. In the middle of the export the app crashes. How can I fix this (in laymen terms if possible). Thank you.

I am very new to AS. I'll put this as simply as I know how.....When I use the add points tool to start a new shape, lets say a 3 pointed shape. I make my first two welds and when I weld the 3rd point back to the 1st (or original) point, this third and final weld acts quite differently than the other...

I'm working through the tutorials for Anime Studio 5. Tut 2.1, and 2.2 have me wondering how to make a pointed edge...such as the yellow crown in 2.1 and the flower pedals in 2.2. When I add a point it automatically curves everything. Im sure there is a simple solution. Thank you.
